Strasbourg, with its "grand island", listed as a world heritage site of Unesco, excudes a romantic atmosphere. Some of the pleasurable moments to be shared are the old Petite france district, with its animated medieval streets, the cathedral dominating the city from its heigh of 142 metres, the shores of the Ill river, a lovely location for a stroll, as well as the many friendly Winstubs in which Alsatian specialities can be appreciated. Strasbourg is a city of art, whose past is largely preserved. Take the time to visit the quarters, buildings and museums which evokes harmoniously its rich history.
